Bugsnax: How to Catch Popticks
Bugsnax may be a new indie puzzle adventure game from Young Horses that appears like something that came out of the first 2000s. Since there are so many half-insect, half-sandwich creatures to capture, you might be wondering how to catch a particular creature. That can be a problem. Here's how to catch Popticks in Bugnsax.
How to catch chicks in Bugsnax
A very trendy singer named Wiggle Wigglebottom will eventually assign you the task of finding two Popticks and feeding those same Bugsnax to Wiggle.
To catch these suckers, first head to the Scorched Gorge area, west of Snaxburg. You can see the entry in the image below and then another image of the map itself.
The area is not too big, so once you enter, take a right, and you will immediately see two little Popticks. You will also see a Scorpenyo hanging on the wall, which will come in handy for catching Popticks.
If you try to catch the Popticks in your Snack Trap, it won't work. They are too small to catch, so you have to do something to make them a little bigger.
If you scan the Scorpenyo, you'll notice that it hates hot sauce and will throw flaming peppers at anything that catches its eye.
Once you find the hot sauce seasoning in that area, go ahead and shoot the Popticks with the hot sauce.
This will cause the Scorpenyo to shoot them, causing them to expand. Once they finish burning, you can capture them in a trap.
I would suggest setting the trap away from the burning scorpion as it will constantly burn it with its peppers. Back off a bit and catch the Popticks with one of their favorite things, chocolate.
You can always go back to Snaxburg Farm if you run out.
And make sure you catch them before time runs out on the trap. Just repeat this to catch them both (or catch two at the same time), and you are ready to fulfill Wigglebottom's request.
