Godfall: Is there multiplayer? Replied

Godfall's action-driven gameplay is fun enough to play solo, offering a vast world to explore and a plethora of enemies to defeat. Since most games are even more fun when friends are involved, they wouldn't blame you for asking yourself: Is there multiplayer in Godfall? and does it allow you to play with friends?

Luckily for you, we've done the fieldwork and found an answer.

Is there multiplayer in Godfall? Replied

In fact, there is multiplayer in Godfall, although there are some restrictions to be aware of when trying to play alongside other players.

At any time, you can form a team with up to three other players. Then everyone can fight together in the game, taking out enemies and taking on bosses the way they do.

The only downside is that there is no online matchmaking for this cooperative experience at the time of writing. Instead, you'll only be able to team up with people you've actively added to your friend's list.

Will online matchmaking ever be added?

As for whether online matchmaking could be implemented in Godfall at a later date, that's not impossible.

Since the game already featured online games with others, the framework is there to allow unfamiliar players to join. This can come in the form of a free update or, in the worst case, a very low-cost DLC. Although the former seems much more likely than the latter.

However, this is all speculation. No news of such an addition has been announced yet, and thus there is no concrete evidence that the feature will ever be added.

Hope this clears up whether or not it is multiplayer in Godfall. For more information on the game, check out some of our other guides on topics like the maximum level cap and how to get Electrum quickly.
