The first is to get to a certain point in the game; more specifically, after Daigo and Masaru Watase announced their respective clans' dissolution during the story. Once they do, you'll be tasked with getting through a few fights and listening to a display to learn how the rest of the game's story unfolds.

Once you regain control, you will be notified that new allies can be recruited through Kamulop, the Tojo clan member disguised as Yokohama's mascot. These allies are Daigo and Watase, and Kamulop will give you the Poundmate summoning information for those allies if you bring him 50 Tojo Clan Shields for each.

How to get Tojo Clan Crests

This brings us to the second requirement: you'll get to collect 50 Tojo Clan Shields to get Daigo's summoning information in Yakuza sort of a Dragon. These crests can be earned by researching them in each game's cities (Yokohama, Sotenbori, and Kamurocho) or by defeating rare enemies in the game's dungeons.

Use whichever method you are most comfortable spending time with, and once you've had enough, head back to Kamulop. Talk to him to open his trade menu, then scroll down to find Daigo. Select her summoning information and exchange the badges for her. Once you do, you will be notified that it is now available as a Summon in the Poundmates menu.
