Bugsnax: How to Save Your Game

In Young Horses' indie title Bugsnax, you play as a reporter trying to find out what's going on on Snaktooth Island while trying to catch some creatures known as Bugsnax. These critters are the half bug, half snack, and 100% delicious. Since you'd probably like to track the progress of all the different types of bugs you catch, here's a guide on how to save your Game to Bugsnax.

How to save your Game in Bugsnax

Saving your progress is very easy in Bugsnax because the Game simply saves your progress for you; how could it be easier?

When your Game is being recorded, a small white circle will appear in the screen's upper left corner. You can see how it looks in the image below.

The Game will save once you hit a checkpoint in Bugsnax, and these seem to be quite common, so you shouldn't have to worry too much about losing lost progress if, for some reason, you turn off the console or exit the Game before to be saved.

If you missed something and you want to restart from a previous backup, you can open the menu and click the Restart from recording option. This will take you back to your last checkpoint, and your current progress will not be saved.

You can also create three more save files from the main menu if you have friends or family who want to join you in all the bugsnackin fun.

And finally, if you ever need to delete a backup file, just go to settings from the main menu. From there, go to Game, then you will see an option to Delete saved data.

And that is! This is all you need to know how to save on Bugsnax. To find out more about our Bugsnax blanket, you can search for InafGo or just look below.
