Bugsnax: How to Catch a Big Bopsicle
At some point in the Bugsnax story, you will be asked to transform a character's feet into Big Bopsicles. However, he has no information on where to find them or how to catch them. To complete the missions and add the creature to your collection, here is everything you need to know how to catch Big Bopsicle in Bugsnax.
First, you need to get to the Sugarpine Woods biome in Bugsnax. You will need to head back to Snaxburg, follow the steps to open the bridge to the mountain, and then head into the wooded area.
How to catch a big bopsicle in Bugsnax
Here you will find Big Bopsicle on the left side of the area. There will be two of them; they will rush you if you get too close and freeze you to the point where you will have to try to break free. They are quite boring to deal with.
Catching large bopsicles in Bugsnax requires you to interact with the other snake there, Charmallow. The Charmallow will only be available between 4 pm and 4 am, noon and night, so you will need to find a bed to sleep in until then.
Once back in the area at the right time, scanning the Charmallow will find that it is attracted to peanut butter. Using your Slinger (you will find PB just to the left of the Sugarpine Woods entrance), fire a Big Bopsicle, and the Charmallow will rush towards it.
The fiery Charmallow will then melt the outer skin of the Big Bopsicle and begin a countdown lasting 20 seconds. You need to make sure that the melted Big Bopsicle that you are trying to catch in Bugsnax doesn't collide with another frozen one as it will freeze again, which means you won't be able to get it. Capture.
After the 20 seconds have passed, the snake will split into two individual bopsicles.
Then you can go to the smallest one and touch the square to grab it in your net.
Don't worry about the mission that asks you to catch a "big" Bopsicle; catch two smaller ones that always come out of a big one.
