Demon's Souls: How to Save Your Game
Even the slightest bit of progress is hard-earned in Demon's Souls, so you won't be blamed for being a bit paranoid about saving your own game as much as possible. That's why we're here to help you figure out how to proceed as quickly as possible with a guide on how to save your game in Demon's Souls.
How to save your game in Demon's Souls
Saving your game in Demon's Souls works the same as in all other Souls games; however, it automatically saves in different ways.
As you progress through each level, the game will automatically save to create your progress file. In particular, it will be saved every time you enter a new section of an area, die and respawn or defeat a boss. It's pretty reliable, and even if the game crashes, it will ensure that you can restart the game at or near the point where it crashed.
You can also force an autosave in Demon's Souls by exiting the game manually. This is done by opening the Pause menu by pressing the Options button, scrolling to the Return to Title option, and then selecting it with the X button.
You can then resume your game from the exact point where you left off, whether you are in the middle of a level or relaxing on the Nexus.
That is really all there is to it. It's pretty easy to build once you get the hang of it, and you should be able to record all your progress smoothly in no time.
