While action and offense are central to Godfall's game, knowing when to go defense is equally important. How to block in Godfall
Blocking in Godfall is easy to do, and whether it works or not is not strictly time-dependent either.
When you see that an enemy attack is imminent, all you have to do is hold down the L1 button on PlayStation 5 or the LB button on Xbox Series X. Ranged attacks.
There is also no limit to the duration of the lockdown. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to block as much as possible. In particular, you should always block when approaching enemies using ranged attacks, as they can easily split your health before hitting them.
