Godfall: How to Change Difficulty
Developed by Counterplay Games and published by Gearbox Software, Godfall is a new looter-slasher game that has just been released on PS5 and PC via the Epic Games Store. By taking control of Orin's character, you are tasked with clearing the world of an impending threat and fighting an evil named Macros. Along the way, you will have to do stories and side missions while collecting better loot.
Here's how to change the difficulty in Godfall.
Difficulty change in Godfall
There are a total of three difficulty levels you can choose from in Godfall, and you can select them for each individual mission.
Whenever you enter the mission selection screen, press the square button or the X button if playing on a PC with an Xbox controller to change the difficulty.
Here's a quick rundown of what each setting entails:
- Easy: Enemies deal less damage, enemies have lower health, enemies are less aggressive.
- Ordinary: The default Godfall experience.
- Hard: Missions fail after 3 respawns, enemies deal more damage, enemies have more health, enemies are more aggressive, enemies drop more loot.
From the descriptions alone, it doesn't seem like playing on the Easy setting reduces loot losses at all. So if you're playing solo or having a more difficult time, you should be able to lower the difficulty without much of an impact.
On the other hand, if you're playing the game with a full team of three, it may be worth increasing the difficulty level to Hard. It will be harder and more punitive, but increased loot is a good payoff and should be more manageable with more players.
This is all you need to know about how to change the difficulty setting in Godfall. Be sure to search InafGo for more tips and information about the game.
