There is actually a new Game Plus mode in Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

Once you have completed the main story of the game, which has around 10 to 12 hours of content, you will unlock the ability to start a new Plus game using the data from your save file. To do this, start the game, select the file with which you completed the game, and then select the New Game Plus option from the main files menu.

Then they'll drop you off in Spider-Man: Miles Morales from the beginning of the story with all the combinations, upgrades, and levels you unlocked in your previous game. This can be a big step if you're playing your new file on a higher difficulty or an additional power boost if you're just restarting the game for fun.
