Each creature in Bugsnax is captured differently. Some require a little patience, but others require you to extract some sauce to lure them into your Snak Trap or net. Each type of sauce comes from a different place, and it's easy to quickly run out of energy trying to catch a particularly slippery snake. So you don't have to go through the map; here's everything you need to know about how to get more sauce on Bugsnax.
The sauce is collected all over the map, but there are places to go to get more. Also, you will gradually gain access to more information as you progress, starting with Ketchup.
How to get more sauce on Bugsnax
First of all, it pays to know where you will find each type of sauce naturally before moving on in search of more.
Tomato Sauce - Garden Grove, where you are introduced to Wampus sauces, is the place to find Ketchup.
Hot Sauce - Burned Throat is where you'll first find hot sauce, but you should be able to find something to the left of Sizzlin 'Sands.
Chocolate - Chocolate is the most delicate sauce that can be found in Bugsnax. Snaxburg is the best place to find it.
Peanut Butter - Sugarpine Woods is the best place to find peanut butter. There are everywhere.
Cheese Sauce - You'll only find cheese sauce at Sizzlin 'Sands, where you talk to Shelda. However, you will need to use the Snak Grappler to catch it. Point and shoot, and you will catch the five-cheese sauce that is there.
