Bugsnax: Secret Lava Cave Solution

Bugsnax is a new standalone title from the same studio that worked on Octodad. The game has you play as a reporter as you explore Snaktooth Island and interview the people of Snaxburg. You will spend most of your time exploring the different biomes to catch Bugsnax as well. If you have a particular statue puzzle in the Boiling Bay area, we have the solution for you. Here's the secret lava cave solution for Bugsnax.

Bugsnax's Secret Lava Cave Solution

While exploring the Boiling Bay biome in Bugsnax, you will come across a slightly hidden cave filled with Noodlers, Cheepoofs Flamin, and lots of hot lava.

Towards the back of this cave, you will see four small coconut statues to interact with by pressing the square button. However, these four statues must be pressed in a specific order.

The order is based on the number of teeth each has. So you need to press the one with one tooth first and then go up until you reach the last one with all four teeth.

If you see the image below, the order should look like this: right, second from left, second from right, then far left.

Once you have successfully activated them, a large hole will open in the cave and lead you to the Sizzling Sands area. It seems like you don't get anything to solve the puzzle, but now you have a quick and easy way to get to the other area without going to Snaxburg and dealing with the loading screens.
