The problem with the names arose when the next-generation console became available for pre-order. It happened that quite a few gamers bought Xbox One X instead of Xbox Series X.

In the case of Reddit user L3Jane, however, that didn't happen. He states: "Yes, I checked my order three times, and it is for Series X. That was in Australia via Telstra."
