Destiny 2: season 11 finale will likely start in the middle of the night

Even before the start of Beyond Light, Destiny 2 will give Season 11 an ending in the form of a closing event. But there isn't much time left for this, and it seems like it will take place at an inconvenient time for us.

What is the event about? Tomorrow, November 10, 2020, Destiny 2 will begin a new chapter. With the new Beyond the Light expansion and Season 12, the game will begin in its fourth year.

But before the Guardians can dive into new content tomorrow, Destiny 2 still wants to end the (still) current Season 11, the season of arrival, with a closing event. But when does the season finale begin?

Many German Guardians are likely to experience the event only on YouTube.

That is currently the question that worries numerous Guardians. Because Bungie doesn't have much time left for it. At 4:00 am German time, on 11/10, the servers are already offline for 14-hour offline maintenance, and immediately after Beyond Light and the new hunting season begins.

When does the Season 11 final event start? Unfortunately, unlike the season 10 live event, Bungie did not officially provide an exact date or time. There were also no announcements in the game. But we know from franchise boss Luke Smith that it should arrive before 4:00 am on November 10.

Because Smith has confirmed that they want to end season 11 with a small event, and the season finale has yet to be released.

However, there are indications that the event will be live shortly before the server goes down, which would be a shame for all German and European players. Because that would be in the middle of the night, probably starting at 1:00 am on November 10, at an inconvenient time.

This speaks to this late start time: According to many players, the official schedule for the next major maintenance indicates the start of the event.

  • Maintenance work will begin on November 10. at 12:30 am German time.
  • And at 1:00 am, all Guardians are out of their activities and have to upload a small update, according to Bungie, in preparation for the server crash.
  • After that, you can log in again as usual and play until 4:00 am

Exactly this update at 1:00 am should trigger the event for the season finale in many Guardians' eyes. After all, why else would you have to download a mini update shortly before big 14-hour maintenance? Major Update 3.0.0.1 Preload Now Live on PS4; therefore, a small post-solution is also out of the question.

Pyramid ships represent darkness in Destiny.

Bottom line: There is currently a strong assumption that the event will start in Germany from 1:00 am on November 10.

What can we expect from the end of season 11? This is also not currently known. Officially, it was said that nothing would be crazy. Chill out with your friends in the tower before the lights go out.

It is presumed that we will witness live how the darkness arrives with its ships so that the traveler or the traveler can heal.

Are you there? For the German Guardians, this is a very inconvenient moment. Certainly, not everyone is ready to log into the game and relax in the tower with their gamer friends, as Luke Smith so beautifully put it. So it all comes down to the fact that someone like that will likely watch the event at a more suitable time on November 10 on YouTube or Twitch.

At InafGo, we will also be there and report first-hand about the end of the season tomorrow. But what about you guys? Would you or are you still at the season 11 closing event at such a late hour? Or is it too late for you, even if it's Destiny?
