Destiny 2 - Update 3.0.0.1 is Coming - Everything You Need to Know About Beyond Light

Maintenance on 11/10 - All about the process and the server down

These are the important moments: This time, the times are not as clear as usual. You have two updates, a live event, and a long server (14 hours) ahead of you until you can restart tomorrow with Beyond Light:

• Maintenance work on all platforms starts at 00:30 in the background.
• 01:00 all players are kicked out and have to upload a small update
• You can log in again immediately after the mini update.
• 3:50 am the Destiny server log stops
• 04:00 Destiny servers will go offline
• Servers reconnect at 6:00 pm. Update 3.0.0.1 will be released worldwide.
• As soon as the update is downloaded (and copied), you can replay Destiny 2 and begin the Beyond Light expansion.
• Maintenance work is scheduled to end at 9:00 pm.

Based on current information, the mini-update in the middle of the night on November 10 will likely feature the Season 11 finale. You then have time between 1:00 and 4:00 to watch the closing event:

Is there a preload for Beyond Light? Yes! Bungie has already confirmed that you can download the necessary update 3.0.0.1 on all platforms beforehand. This is also very necessary as the update is 60 to 70 GB in size, depending on the platform.

The guardians of the PS4 have even been able to start the download since the early hours of November 9. Here the update has version number 2.02.
