One of the best sandbox FPS games of all time, Garry's Mod, affectionately known as Gmod by its players, is an all-in-one source for custom game modes. For games like Among Us, take a look at two of the most popular game modes on the platform, TTT, and Murder.

TTT, or Trouble in Terrorist Town, is a game mode in which people are assigned to one of two teams, the innocents or the traitors. Both sides have guns, and the traitors' job is to dispatch all innocents before they are recognized as traitors and commit suicide. Traitors have access to a special menu where they can purchase exclusive weapons and technology for traitors.

The innocents have the help of a single detective, who has access to his special equipment and has a letter in his name so that the whole game knows that they are not a traitor.

The other game mode is Assassination, where a player appears with a knife, intending to kill all other spectators on the map. Another player appears with a pistol and can shoot the killer, but will be punished for shooting passersby. Both game modes are quite similar in their basic Among Us mechanics, and they can be a lot of fun with friends.

Deceit is a free cheating game from Baseline. In the game, a small part of the players will be monsters, who will have to drink blood from blood bags throughout the map to charge their ability to transform into monsters and eat people.

Normal humans must find fuses and resources to advance on the map as they work together to find and destroy the monsters in the lobby.

The game itself is FPS and is more about action and racing than investigation, but a clever monster or human can turn the lobby into a voting machine with enough language. Silver.

Using werewolves to explain, the simplest version of the game involves two types of players, townspeople, and werewolves. The townspeople will normally have a subclass, such as a medic or a bodyguard, who will give them an action to take during the night.

The game is played as Among Us. All of you are sitting around a table discussing what happened, but instead of doing the housework, everyone closes their eyes at the End of the discussion and leaves the narrator, a third. Group controller similar to a dungeon master in dungeons and dragons, they move slowly through each class, allowing them to perform their night action silently. Werewolves choose one person to kill each night.

Both tabletop versions of the game can be found in the Tabletop Simulator game as user-created modules. Town of Salem is a separate browser version of the game that is controlled by a computer, rather than a narrator, allowing all participants to play.

You are only aware of who your target is, so trusting and suspecting other players, whether they are chasing you or not, is the bulk of the game.

The original version of the game is still available here on Steam, but it can take a lot of effort to make it work with the servers down. The remaster is known for some bugs and lag spikes, but since you're looking for games like Among Us, that shouldn't be a problem.

Project Winter is a brutal game in which eight people survive in the freezing cold. As with many of these games similar to Among Us, pit the survivors against an enemy hidden among them.

However, in this case, survival is the top priority, and death can come long before the traitors get their hands on you.

While a vast majority of critics say "Best Among Us," the game has features and mechanics that vary wildly. The mechanics are a big part of the fun of learning the early parts of the game, so they won't appear here, but Survival and Escape are the game's name.
