Pokémon GO: Community Day with Elektek - Here's how it's best used - Inafgo

In Pokémon GO, Community Day with Elektek begins on November 15, 2020. We show you the most important information in the guide, such as start time, attacks, and Shiny Elektek.

What kind of event is that? As a general rule, there is a Community Day in Pokémon GO once a month. November 2020 is something special because it is one of the few months of the year that developers have given away two Community Days.

During the first Community Day, the focus is on Elektek, and it brings some exciting bonuses. So that you can make the most of the event, here we show you the summary with the most important information.

Remember that there is currently a risk of infecting yourself and others with the coronavirus. The Federal Center for Health Education recommends staying home as often as possible, keeping your distance from others, and avoiding crowds.

Community days can also be played from the comfort of your home using Rauch. You don't have to meet other coaches for this. The increased exchange rank is active during the event and helps avoid direct encounters with other people.

What? Community day with Elektek

When? On Sunday, November 15, 2020, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm local time.

Pokémon of the day: Elektek appears more frequently in the wild

Exclusive attack: Flamethrower

Bonus: Distance to hatch eggs reduced to a fourth

Bonus: Duration of three hours of smoke

Bonus: You can evolve Elektek up to 2 hours after the event for Elevoltek to learn the Flamethrower attack.

Bonus: Elekid hatch from 2 km eggs that you will receive during the event.

Since the corona pandemic, Community Days in Pokémon GO have lasted a full 6 hours. So that they don't all have to go to their stops together at peak times, they can split it up well or play straight from home.

What can I buy? A special box for Community Day is available in the store. There is also the € 1 note again.

In the Elektek Community Day Box, you will find a Superior Instant TM, 3 Super Incubators, 3 Smoke, and 30 Hyperballs. It costs 1280 PokéCoins.
For just under € 1, there is another ticket for a special investigation. It's called Voltage for Elektek.

Based on our experiences with the latest € 1 tickets, you should catch, develop, and ship Event Pokémon. You will probably get XP, berries, candy, and more for this.

This is how you make good use of the event.

Prepare properly: It is advisable to collect some balls before the event. You can start saving on Friday. Because during the 6 hours you will meet some Pokémon, at home and on the go. We recommend having at least 300 Poké Balls in your inventory. But preferably even more. It all depends on how many hours you want to dedicate to the event.

With the catch trick, you catch monsters faster in Pokémon GO.

Improve your catches with items: The reduced distance to hatching eggs is a good opportunity to play sports in your own apartment or house. Because you can also incubate eggs at home.

Use Star Chunks to capture and increase stardust production.

If you want to earn some more experience points in the event, you can help yourself with a lucky egg. In combination with leveling up with friends, you get a lot of EPs.

Remember that you can now stack consumables like smoke pieces and stars. If you want, you can drop 2x smoke and as many star pieces as you want right at the start of the event. So you don't have to keep watching the countdown during the event.

Shiny Elektek and Elevoltek

How is the Shiny Chance? We assume that Elektek's bright rate is also 1 in 25. This is usually always the case at Community Days.
