PS5: How to use the official game help guides

Official in-game help is just one of the many new features for the PS5. If you've ever been stuck in a game and looking for a little nudge in the right direction, Sony is here to help you right on your PS5. Here we will break down the Official PS5 Game Help, so you know how to use it and what it is for.

Official PS5 Game Help Explained

As we mentioned earlier, PS5 Game Aid basically allows players to get a hand to figure something out without diverting attention from their PS5.

Official in-game help is available to all active PlayStation Plus subscribers but is only compatible with certain games. Sony has yet to provide information on which games will support official game support, but we know that Sackboy and Demon's Souls will surely be at launch.

How to use the official game help guides on PS5

Press the PlayStation button on your controller to open the command center. Here you will see a series of "cards" for the game you are currently playing or have most recently played.

These cards will track your progress toward levels, collectibles, and more. Simply select the map corresponding to the level or section of the game you need help with and press X.

You will now be given a breakdown of the various "objectives" that might be required to complete the level. Select the part you are stuck with and press X again.

Your official PS5 game help will appear in the box, giving you a short text description and even an image or video to help you visualize where you need to be or what you need to do.

If you need to enlarge the video or image for a better view, simply select it with the left analog stick and press X to enlarge. Press the X button again to reduce it to its normal size.

Finally, if you want to have the official PS5 game help guide while playing the game, you can choose the last button on the screen (selected in the image below) to pin the game help to the screen's side to use it while you continue. Playing.
