Can you buy weapons in Watch Dogs Legion?

There are weapons and a huge variety of different types of weapons available in Watch Dogs Legion. However, if you were hoping for some gun shop feature to buy weapons in the game, you're out of luck.

At the time of writing, the only way to buy weapons is through the tech tree, and there are only four available. By viewing your menu and heading to the Tech tab, you can spend tech points to buy the pistol, shotgun, submachine gun, and grenade launcher, and that's it...

It should also be noted that these are all non-lethal weapons and are widely effective against drones, although they can also be used to take out human enemies. These are the only weapons that you can purchase correctly in the game.

With that said, it's also possible to recruit Watch Dogs Legion agents who come with their special weapons. For example, the hitman comes with a Desert Eagle, while the Spy comes with a P99 silent pistol.
